Controls Look Wrong when in Editor Play Mode

Purchased the asset today and the demo scenes do not work in Unity 5.3.4p5. I'm in iOS build target on OSX.

When you open any of the scenes and then go into Play mode, the controls all look messed up. I'll attach a picture so you understand what I mean. Shadows look very poor and there appear to be incorrect highlights on all the buttons.

This is related to the UI Scale Mode and Reference Resolution.

What should I be targeting for mobile devices and editor? Changing to 667x375 seems to fix the issue

Sorry to keep coming back to this. Changing the Canvas Scaler's Reference Resolution to a smaller resolution than the default does fix the obvious errors, but now all the UI elements are blurry.

What is the right way to interact with that setting? Why doesn't it work with the default settings?

Sorry for the delay, but I finally found how to fix this issue.
It will be fixed in the next version (1.1.6)!
